About Heart of America KC K9 Teams
Heart of America KC K9 Teams is a Kansas City-based organization dedicated to connecting therapy dogs and their handlers with people who need them most — in hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, and community events.
Our golden retrievers are natural candidates for therapy dog work. Their gentle temperament, sensitivity to human emotion, and love of people make them exceptional partners for this meaningful work.
